Who do you work with?
Middle-market companies, family-owned businesses, institutional investors, management teams, boards, and special committees. Clients span a wide range of industries; what they share is a meaningful strategic or financial decision that warrants experienced, independent counsel.
What does an engagement cost?
Our fee structure is engagement-specific and discussed transparently at the outset. Most advisory mandates involve a monthly retainer combined with a success fee tied to the value created at transaction close. We do not charge success fees on engagements where we do not create value.
How quickly do you respond?
Within one business day for every substantive inquiry. Urgent situations receive a same-day response when the inquiry is submitted before 4:00 PM Eastern. The partner on duty handles the first reply directly.
Is the initial conversation confidential?
Yes. Every preliminary conversation is conducted under the firm's standard of strict confidentiality. The conversation carries no cost or obligation and is intended to determine, jointly, whether and how the firm can be useful.
Do you work outside the United States?
Yes. Our advisory work spans North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East & North Africa. We have advised on transactions with counterparties in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, Canada, Australia, and the Gulf, among others. We travel to clients and to their counterparties wherever the transaction requires.
